Assistant to Ivan Mestrovic, pupil of Rodin. Worked on many castings for him and preparation sketches for monuments throughout the world.

1955 Entered graduate school at the University of Notre Dame

Received recognition for “Merit of Service Award”

1958 February-1959
Returned to Notre Dame to complete graduate studies

Taught drawing at “The Barn School of Art” 1958-59
Received numerous commissions: St. Josapath Ukrainina Church in Cleveland (crucifix); Portraits: The Canadian writer, Mr. Oshtrich; Bishop of India; Croation monk from Chicago


1959-1969 Received the Heinrik Kauffman grant from the American Scandinavian Foundation in New York City
Studies at the Danish Royal Art Academy, Copenhagen, Denmark. Field of study: Sculpture, Danish Language, history and methodology of art.

Many art works are in private collections in Denmark and Sweden.
Became a fellow of the American-Scandinavian Foundation


1960 During this period I traveled throughout Denmark and Sweden for the purpose of studying churches and sculpture.
